Grace grew up in Rhode Island, attending Moses Brown School in Providence where she graduated in 2006. In 2010, she received her BA from Skidmore College where she majored in anthropology, and minored in studio art. After graduation, Grace relocated to Asheville, NC, where she dove head first into learning more about environmentally preferred textiles and apparel design and production. In 2012, she launched her own brand of domestically manufactured wool apparel, and learned about the ins and outs of domestic apparel and yarn production. In 2015, her love of and fascination with all things wool and yarn related led her through the following 10 years of work in the craft yarn industry where she was able to develop and design yarn, yarn related products, as well as sustainable apparel and home goods.

Besides product design and development, her roles as creative director also saw her developing brand identities, leading product photography, website development and design, for 3 brands: Appalatch, Echoview Fiber Mill, and Zollie. She maintained those brand’s identities within packaging, marketing, and messaging. She was also privileged to managing teams focused on product development, manufacturing, and company cohesion. After living in Western North Carolina for 13 years, Grace and her family returned to her home state of Rhode Island where they currently reside.

In 2025 Grace and her husband, Dr. Greg Casey, launched Waypoint Sanctuary, an acupuncture and wellness center in North Kingstown, RI.
